Job Summary/Objective:

We are seeking a talented and creative Luau Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for capturing authentic moments in a resort setting, showcasing the natural beauty and emotions of individuals and families. The Luau Assistant will assist the luau photographer in capturing the best photos possible of luau guests entering the show.

Responsibilities:

1.) Assist Luau photographer in keeping things orderly and running smoothly as guests enter the show.

2.) Assist in sales of the photos at the end of the show

3.) Be a friendly and welcoming voice to people attending the show.

4.) Help with set up and breakdown of photo area and sales area.

5.) Edit and retouch photos to meet company standards using Adobe Lightroom Classic.

6.) Manage and organize photography equipment, ensuring it is well-maintained and ready for use.

7.) Data Management, making sure data remains organized for both guests and management.

Qualifications:

1.) Proficiency in using photography equipment and Adobe editing software.

2.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients.

3.) Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

4.) Creativity and an eye for detail to capture unique and compelling portraits.

5.) Must be able to lift 40lbs.

Work Environment:

The Luau assistant will primarily work outdoors on resort property, adapting to different weather conditions and lighting situations. Luau photos are 2-3 nights a week. Shifts are from 3:30pm - 8:30pm.

Location:

The position is based in Waikoloa. You must have reliable transportation to get to and from the Waikoloa Beach Marriott. You must be legal to work in the USA.
